His work sits at the intersection of public policy, sustainability, and strategic foresight, specialising in designing governance strategies that respond to complex global challenges. He previously served as the Secretary of State for International Trade and Foreign Investment and as Under-Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. With more than 25 years of experience she worked in civil society organisations, with government, public institutions and multilateral organisations. She lectures in several universities on topics related with international relations, foresight and development studies.
