KNOWLEDGE TO ACT IN FAVOR OF GLOBAL JUSTICE AND THE FIGHT AGAINST GLOBAL WARMING
HUMAN II – YOUR VOICE, YOUR ACTION
The HUMAN II project runs from October 2025 to November 2027 and contributes to the promotion, consolidation, and dissemination of Education for Development and Global Citizenship as a pillar of social justice and climate action.
Through face-to-face awareness-raising and mobilization activities, using innovative participatory methodologies, and online activities using digital technologies, more than 8,000 young people can strengthen their global citizenship skills, increase their awareness for critical reflection on global challenges, and mobilize themselves to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
The activities include, among others
- he strengthening and expansion of the HUMAN Academy e-learning platform with digital courses and debates for young people;
LEARN ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS ON DIFFERENT TOPICS
- An award for texts written by young people on sustainability and citizenship issues;
- National boot camp for awareness and mobilization;
- Informal conversations in secondary schools and universities.
The HUMAN project is coordinated by Clube of Lisbon in partnership with Instituto Marquês de Valle Flôr and Câmara Municipal de Oeiraswith co-financing from Camões – Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua, I.P.
HUMAN I – KNOWLEDGE FOR ACTION IN SUPPORT OF GLOBAL JUSTICE AND THE FIGHT AGAINST GLOBAL WARMING
The HUMAN I project ran from November 2022 to October 2024, with the aim of contributing to the promotion, consolidation, and dissemination of education for development and global citizenship.
The Clube of Lisbon and its partners promoted the following actions:
- 17 courses at the HUMAN® Digital Academy
- Academy mobile app
- Webinars
- Vídeo/Podcasts
In carrying out these actions, the Lisbon Club collaborates with the HUMAN® platform, particularly in the creation of the digital platform where you can find the different activities, namely the 17 global citizenship courses that covered around 17,000 young people between the ages of 18 and 35, with the aim of strengthening their skills in education for development and global citizenship and acting in a conscious and informed manner to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
