SUMMER COURSE ON GLOBAL CHALLENGES
THE SUMMER SCHOOL ON GLOBAL CHALLENGES IS ORGANISED ANNUALLY IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CENTRE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDIES AT ISCTE-IUL.
It is a multidisciplinary course focused on policies regarding threats and opportunities that impact the architecture and functioning of the global system. A Specialised Seminar lasting 20 hours, with 2 classes per day, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. It is also an optional course for the Master’s Degree in International Studies at Iscte – Lisbon University Institute. As a summer school, it is open to external candidates, who will receive a Certificate of Participation. Those who wish to submit a written essay and meet the assessment criteria will be awarded 6 ECTS credits – ECTS credits are also valid for the Master’s Degree in International Relations at the Autonomous University of Lisbon.
In 2024, the 11th edition of the Summer School took place between 23 and 27 September and had 85 participants from 23 countries.
