We are in a era of global transition, where the order established after World War II is being challenged. Rules of international law have been violated by major powers, trade rules established in long and difficult rounds of negotiations are being ignored, and multilateralism and globalisation are being challenged by attempts to return to the law of the jungle and the logic of \u2018spheres of influence\u2019.<\/p>\n
